Social media profiles in the ESTA application

Within the ESTA form, you have the option to indicate the social media profiles you have used in the last five years. If you do not use any social media, you can answer "No" to the question about social media profiles and move on to the next step in the ESTA application.

If you have answered "Yes" to the question, you can now provide specific information about your profiles. The ESTA application will suggest the main social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) to you via a yes/no question.

When you are using one or more of these social networks, answer "Yes" to the specific question(s) and then provide your ID, user name, or screen name for each social media platform. A drop-down menu then allows you to add more platforms.

Fill out the ESTA form carefully, and do not submit it until you are sure that everything is complete and correct. Even small mistakes and inattention can cause your ESTA application to be rejected.
